It’s Flashback Friday again! This piece is a lot more recent than my other FF ones. But it was one of the first times I worked digitally, at least in a serious way. This was my character for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign I was playing at the time: a Tiefling rogue whose name I don’t remember. I apologize for the poor image quality; the original file has been lost to the great computer in the sky so I had to pull this from an old art account.
The reason I show this particular piece is to really highlight how practice pays off. It took me years to get the hang of digital media, and although after I drew this I took a break from digital art for quite a few years, the knowledge I learned still stuck with me. There are obviously a lot of things wrong with this piece, but there are definitely a lot of solid beginnings for my future digital work.
